A true Canadian boy hailing from Nelson, British Columbia Tim Hus has built himself from the roots up to make his smooth Canadian sound known all over North America and Europe. With his unique lyrics, and pleasing twang, Tim will draw you in for an energetic and authentically Canadian performance. Over the past year, Tim Hus has had the privilege of touring with Stompin’ Tom Connors as a personal guest of his! "I've been looking for 30 years for a young guy who's proud to write songs about our country. I'd like to pass the torch to Tim Hus", said Stompin' Tom Connors. Tim recently wrote the track “Hurtin’ Albertan” which was recorded by acclaimed Canadian band Corb Lund; the album went Gold!

Featured Artist
Having worked every hands-on, bushwhacking, all-Canadian job you can think of, Tim Hus channels his heritage in his lyrics. He has a level, smooth, and rich voice that tells a story in such a way that you feel as if you’ve lived it right there alongside him. Following his acclaimed CD Bush Pilot Buckaroo, Tim has recently released Hockeytown and joins the Legendary Ian Tyson and Corb Lund on the Stony Plain Records label. “I’m drawing on my sources of inspiration for the songs more clearly than ever, and these songs, from the title track to North Atlantic Trawler and Red River Flood, just seemed to write themselves,” said Hus of his sophomore album with Stony Plain Records.
Congrats to Tim and we look forward to welcoming him here at The Laff!
